I absolutely LOVE our front door to our apartment here in Italy.

And my favorite part might be that we have 4 (count'em 4!) deadbolts.

Happy Valentine's Day!! I know a lot of people think its tacky, but I really love this day :) I love to have an excuse to wear pink and red at the same time and to eat an entire box of chocolates. I also saved an episode of The Bachelor to watch in my lonesome tonight. Heavenly, right?!

So, today was supposed to be a picture of dinner, but since my dinner consisted of macaroni and cheese from a box, (Dustin was working, you can't expect much), this is a picture of our dessert. I found this recipe on pinterest and it was super easy! They are homemade pop-tarts :)

You really should try these out. AND bonus!-they are pink and red :)

Photo challenge: day 3 (or something like that..)

Alright, so I am not doing so well with my photo challenge. I decided I am skipping pictures I don't want to do because it's my blog and I can do that :) So, I moved on to 10am..

They also shut down the base for the day because of this...

and by 4:00pm it was mostly gone!

Tonight I made 45 paper hearts for our primary party on Saturday. It is going to be a Valentine Service project and for one activity we are going to heart-attack the bishop's door. It should be fun!

P.S. I didn't sneak a picture of a stranger today so that is on the agenda tomorrow!

I am not always great at blogging, but I wanted to try this out so I am going to try and play catch up since it is already the 6th!

This is going to be my new motto for the next little while. We should be finding out where we will be moving soon, and I really want to try and be happy no matter where we get stationed. Even if it isn't in Europe, I want to embrace our new adventure.
